Four levels of effective background enhancement: First, academic foundation layer—ensure GPA and standardized test scores meet target school thresholds; second, interest exploration layer—initially接触感兴趣领域 through courses, reading, and projects; third, deep investment layer—choose 1-2 directions for sustained, in-depth research or practice; fourth,成果展示层—produce visible outcomes through competitions, publications, portfolios, leadership projects, etc.
